| The Cape Jackson twirlers are a division of the Southeast Area Twirlers, which was established in 1989 by Kandi K. Barksdale-Staples. Even though lessons for the CJ Twirlers take place in Cape/Jackson, both organizations come together for various performances during the year including parades, competitions, and other various events. Twirlers from all over Southeast Missouri Area gain the chance to meet and twirl together as friends through the efforts of both groups. Over time and with a growth in enrollment various aspects that you will find offered at the Southeast Area Twirlers Studio will be incorporated into the curriculum and performance schedule for the CJ Twirlers. |
